In a world where Mother Nature and Her creation are the primary focus, peace was only a dream. Destroyers harness creation’s magic and take it for themselves, while Guardians rise up against them to save creation and keep balance and order alive.The ongoing conflict has existed for thousands of years, but hope remained that peace would be restored.
One hundred years after the most recent war in the nation of Annamaka, eighteen-year-old Mickey Azore is recruited to become a Guardian to serve Mother Nature and protect Her creation, hoping to put an end to the Destroyers and their selfish ways. While training, she ends up in a magical realm of creation as part of a mission to bring magic back. However, she discovers that in order to bring back the magic that kept that particular creation alive, she has to change herself first, and then face someone who doesn’t want that magic to return.

After returning from the magical realm of creation with the Ultimate Truth, Mickey Azore soon discovers more truths. Truths regarding betrayal. disobedience, misunderstandings, and the consequences that follow. For Mickey, her determination to know more is undeniable, but her efforts land her in trouble. She disobeys orders, and her fate as a potential Guardian is on the line. At the same time, she is brought back to the magical realm to fix another problem, where thousands of lives were on the line. In order to be successful in both situations, Mickey has to take courage in the face of adversity, make riskier decisions, and above all…stay true to herself.
When FLAME Returns
The final chapter…
After graduating from the GTA, Mickey Azore settles into her new life as a Guardian, while also figuring out how to move forward with her role as The Chosen. However, things take an unexpected turn when she and other Guardians experience events that felt supernatural. They were all signs. Signs that a great war between Guardians and Destroyers is coming, one on a scale not seen in over 1000 years.
While training and preparing for war, Mickey learns that Mother Nature chose her as the commander, and the spirit of the previous war hero tasked her to find her long-lost crystal. They present Mickey with challenges that make her doubt herself and her capability with making the right choices for the war. But, if Mickey is to succeed, she must not only take on those challenges despite the uncertainty, but also have faith and remember where the greater power lies.
